Evelyn Marie Nordberg, loving mother, grandmother

Evelyn Marie Nordberg, 72, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019.

Some of Marie’s hobbies included trips to the beach, sewing, crafting and camping in the mountains. She loved the holidays, but Christmas was her favorite, and she loved having her family at home for the holidays. 

In addition to her parents, Roland and Emma (Carlisle) Johnson; Marie is preceded in death by her late, loving husband, Charles P. Nordberg; and a beloved son, Ryan C. Nordberg.

Marie is survived by four children: David Vogl of Harrington, Christy Schrider of Clearspring, Md., Charles S. Nordberg of Lincoln and Wendy Kincade of Milford. Marie had a deep love for all of her grandchildren, Davey Vogl, Carol Vogl, Brandon Manlove, Dayna Schrider, Carry Walls, George Nordberg, Clay Shirey, Ryan Nordberg Jr., Amanda Nordberg, Alison Nordberg, Whitney Loftus, Savannah Kincade, Khloey Kincade and Gage Nordberg; mom was also blessed to have three great-grandchildren; Riley Kraft, Aurora Nordberg and Amelia Nordberg.

Rest in Peace mom, you are finally free.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Conleys Chapel Cemetery, 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes.
