Events canceled, rescheduled on coronavirus concerns

Milton Garden Club cancels fall tour
The Milton Garden Club announced the cancellation of its fall garden tour, originally set for Sunday, Sept. 20: “In spite of this pandemic, our club members continue to beautify Milton with flower-filled streetscapes in town and colorful blossoms in the park. We send a message of hope for health and safety to all. And as always, happy gardening!”

Rehoboth Beach Bandstand 2020 season canceled
All planned performances for the 2020 season at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand have been canceled. Check back at rehobothbandstand.com for updates.

Tour de Sussex canceled
Delaware Technical Community College has canceled the 2020 Tour de Sussex event scheduled for June 13. For updates, go to tourdesussex.com.

OC Air Show to be rescheduled
The OC Air Show, planned for June 13-14, will be rescheduled for a later date this summer. Tickets already purchased for the VIP Penthouse, Skybox, Flight Line Club and Drop Zone Beach will be honored on the new date. DFRC cancels all Blue-Gold related events
Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens has canceled the June 19, 2020 Blue-Gold All-Star Football Game. All other DFRC events are also canceled, including the Blue-Gold Sussex Auction, Blue-Gold New Castle County Golf Classic, Blue-Gold Southern Delaware Golf Classic and Blue-Gold Run/Walk. Lewes Garden Tour canceled
The 30th anniversary Lewes Garden Tour scheduled for June 20 has been canceled.

June 20 Boating Safety Class canceled

Delaware Supreme Court postpones bar exam
The Supreme Court of Delaware announced that the Delaware bar examination set for July 27-29 has been rescheduled for Sept. 9-11. Details are available on the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners website, https://courts.delaware.gov/bbe/.

Butterfly Release: Wings of Hope postponed
Cancer Support Community Delaware announced the 10th Annual Wings of Hope event, a unique celebration of life and inspiration for many who have been touched by cancer, will now be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at Beebe's Tunnell Cancer Center parking area on Route 24. RSCT cancels public shows
Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre has canceled all public performances for the 2020 season. Theatre and film camps for ages 5 to 14 will be conducted online. The company will also work with area libraries, providing streaming content to replace the planned live performances. Videos of previous performances will rotate on the RSCT website all summer. DSP cancels Camp Barnes

Delaware State Fair concerts canceled
All Delaware State Fair concerts have been canceled, but officials are moving forward with plans to host the fair as scheduled July 23-Aug. 1.

American League Auxiliary cancels Delaware Girls State
The American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Delaware has canceled the 2020 ALA Delaware Girls State Program scheduled for July 11-15 (rescheduled from June 20-26).

Dover Downs reschedules Rollins Center shows
Dover Downs has rescheduled all spring and summer entertainment at the Rollins Center, including Jeffrey Osborne, now set Friday, Sept. 25; Aaron Lewis, Saturday, Oct. 31; Strictly Sinatra Band - Rat Pack, Friday, Dec. 4; and America, Friday, Jan. 29, 2021. All tickets from previous dates will be honored. Refunds will be honored for up to 30 days after the new date is announced. If purchased via credit card, go to etix.com. CHEER centers close while continuing to serve
All CHEER senior citizen activity centers in Greenwood, Georgetown, Long Neck, Milton, Lewes, Ocean View and Roxana are closed. CHEER home-delivered meal customers will still receive meals, but there may be schedule changes. Check local news media and www.cheerde.com for updates, or call CHEER at 302-515-3040.

Rehoboth Public Library closed, events canceled

Breast Cancer Coalition reschedules update
