Everhart announces retirement from Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber

July 8, 2025

The following letter was sent out to the membership of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce.

For 36 years, it has been my sincere blessing to be a part of and to serve the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce team. From the business community, to membership, chamber staff, board of directors, elected officials and all those visitors who take the time to stop and say thank you.

It is with true mixed emotions that I believe it is in the best interest of all those I have mentioned to plan retirement. How does anyone express enough appreciation for being given creative opportunity, volunteer support, growth potential, fairness and teamwork? While the process will begin shortly, and my retirement is on the horizon, my assistance will be here for as long as needed during any transition. You will be seeing formal announcements and more detailed information shortly.

We should all remember, “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future” - John F. Kennedy.
