Experienced family physician joins Atracare primary care team

Atracare announced the addition of Ted Kouzov, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, to its growing team of primary care providers.

Kouzov brings with him a wealth of experience in clinical medicine, medical research and preventative health innovation, along with a passion for lifestyle medicine and human-centered care.

Kouzov completed his residency in family medicine at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, N.Y. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the Medical University of Sofia and holds a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. As a dual U.S. and Bulgarian citizen, he is fluent in both English and Bulgarian.

With a diverse background spanning neurology, pathology, internal medicine, pediatrics and research in critical care, cardiology, pulmonary medicine and PTSD, Kouzov is committed to applying the latest medical and scientific research to help patients live longer, healthier lives. His holistic approach emphasizes proactive wellness strategies, preventive care and fostering strong relationships with patients to improve both mental and physical longevity.

Outside of medicine, Kouzov leads an active lifestyle with interests in snowboarding, biking, swimming, running and photography. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and their two cats, Bowie and Iris.
