Fat Vinny’s expands menu in Dewey Beach

After settling into his Dewey Beach storefront two years ago, Fat Vinny’s owner Vinny Manuele is set to expand his menu with new options.

Known for cheesesteaks and Italian sausage, Fat Vinny’s is now offering BBQ chicken and ribs all day on Saturdays, Manuele said. Customers can now order through a walk-up takeout window beside the front door, he said.

Fresh seeded rolls are delivered every day from Serpe & Sons Bakery in Elsmere, and customers can also call in advance to special order Serpe’s well-known tomato pies, he said.

Peppers, mushrooms and onions are sliced fresh each day, along with hand-cut, thick boardwalk fries. Diners can also find grilled veggie subs, gyros, Buffalo chicken wings and plenty of sides and appetizers.

Beginning Saturday, May 14, Fat Vinny’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., seven days a week, at 1905 Coastal Highway in Dewey. Fat Vinny’s food truck will also be at Revelation Beer Garden at Hudson Fields every weekend, Manuele said.
