Faw Casson promotes two as firm partners
Faw Casson, an accounting and business consultation firm, announced two new partners with the promotions of Andy J. Tobias, MSAC, CPA, and Daniel H. Steele, CPA.
A dedicated professional with an analytical edge and a keen ability to simplify the complex,Tobias has been with the firm since 2013 and has continuously demonstrated excellence in client service and team mentorship.
His journey into accounting started with an unexpected pivot. Originally considering a career in criminal profiling, Tobias ultimately found his investigative mindset better suited to forensic-level detail in audit and assurance. His passion for process improvement and internal controls has made him an invaluable resource for clients navigating complex business environments.
A graduate of Penn State with a master’s degree in accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management, Tobias brings both practical insight and academic depth to his work. He is an active member of the AICPA and DSCPA, and serves on the DSCPA board, demonstrating that his leadership extends well beyond the firm.
"Andy has a rare ability to cut through the noise and zero in on what really matters for our clients and our team,” said Brian Stetina, director of operations. “We’re incredibly proud of his growth and leadership. He’s played a key role in shaping the culture here, and we’re excited to see how his voice will guide our future.”
With more than a decade of service to the firm, Steele is recognized for his calm, thoughtful approach to tax strategy, business advisory services and leadership.
He began his career with Faw Casson in 2014 after graduating from the University of Delaware with degrees in both accounting and finance. Since then, he has become a trusted voice for clients ranging from startups to mature enterprises. His ability to anticipate client needs and quietly resolve complex financial matters has earned him deep respect across the firm and the business community.
“Dan has been a steady force at Faw Casson,” said Stetina. “His technical skill is matched by his empathy and consistency. We’re proud to recognize his contributions, and we’re confident he’ll continue to be a key part of our firm’s evolution in the years ahead.”
Known for his approachable style and attention to detail, Steele is frequently praised by clients for his ability to listen first, offer meaningful insights, and deliver results that reflect both accuracy and understanding. He’s also a regular contributor to the firm’s internal initiatives, supporting training, onboarding and process improvement.
