Fire sprinklers save lives

January 13, 2023

I was reminded recently of the devastating fire 22 years ago in the Oak Orchard area that the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, along with others, responded to. Please note that five of the six fires included on the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s list of the state’s deadliest fires were in residential settings (and I am aware that mobile homes typically are not sprinklered).

Build with residential fire sprinklers.
