First guests at Ogre’s Grove table to receive free art Aug. 15

Local artist draws inspiration from 'Labyrinth'
August 9, 2019

The first 20 people to find the Ogre's Grove table when the Milton Theatre doors open at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, for Revival House's screening of “Labyrinth” will receive a free color-your-own postcard featuring Kristin Aquariann's barn owl drawing.

The art concept is a play on the lyrics, "I move the stars for no one," which David Bowie sings as Jareth, the Goblin King, in the 1986 movie. Aquariann grew up watching "Labyrinth," and attributes it as one of the many stories that inspired her to become a fantasy artist. Her colored pencil drawings are always on display at Ogre's Grove, the comic shop she owns with her husband just down the street from the Milton Theatre.

Tickets for the film are $10, or $5 for students and seniors. For more information, follow the event through facebook.com/OgresGrove.
