Flower festival and class set at East Coast Garden Center April 30

April 26, 2016

East Coast Garden Center will host a flower festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30. With spring finally here, the time has come to enjoy the warm weather and the flowers that come with it. This event is a kickoff to the spring season and allows attendees to see, touch, feel, smell and perhaps even taste the flowers and plants available to help brighten up a landscape or container garden. The numerous options available include edibles, annuals, perennials, tropicals, trees and shrubs.

Visitors can tour the improved new and improved container gardening showcase. This 1,800-square-foot area features a built-in fire pit, seating walls and an array of pottery, statuary and fountains. A container class is set at 10 a.m. Participants can plant a spring container just in time for the season. This class costs $25 per person. For more information, call www.eastcoastgardencenter.com.
