Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park say thanks

June 6, 2019

The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park would like to thank our 122 volunteers who came out and made National Trails Day June 1 a huge success. Through their efforts, we were able to clean the bay and ocean beaches of the park, groom targeted areas in the park and go after invasive species.

The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park would like to thank all our members and the following groups for their participation: Arena’s Deli, the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club of Lewes and CAMP Rehoboth Outreach.

A special thanks to the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth for providing a delicious lunch for all volunteers. Thanks also to the Cape Henlopen park staff for all their support.

The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park sponsors a monthly trail day on the second Saturday of each month. Our next scheduled event will be Saturday, July 13; the public is invited to join us. Please visit our website at www.friendsofcapehenlopen.org.
