Friends of Cape Henlopen youth fishing tournament set Sept. 6

The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park annual youth fishing tournament will return Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Cape Henlopen State Park Fishing Pier, 15099 Cape Henlopen Drive, Lewes. On-site registration will open at 7 a.m., with the tournament set from 8 to 11 a.m.

The registration fee is $10 per child. Park entrance fees remain in effect. 

Young anglers will compete for two trophies: Largest Legal Fish Caught and Most Fish Caught during the tournament.

In one of Delaware’s most scenic spots, kids can discover the beauty of the park while learning to become outdoor enthusiasts and anglers.
