Friends of the Millsboro library celebrate success of Jewelry Extravaganza
Book donations sought for annual fundraising sale July 17-19

The Friends of the Millsboro Public Library recently held a Jewelry Extravaganza to benefit children's programs at the library. Funds raised will support the Children's Summer Reading Program, which offers various speakers, demonstrations and performances to entertain and inform all ages. Funds also are used toward the purchase of furniture and supplies for the library's annex room as well as e-books.
The Jewelry Extravaganza was so popular that donations of gently used jewelry are being accepted in preparation for the 2026 sale. The Friends are currently accepting book donations for the next library fundraiser, its annual book sale set for Thursday to Saturday, July 17 to 19.
