Fund for Women fashion show raises $20,000

October 12, 2022

On one of the windiest days of the year, Oct. 2, a group of 165 ladies gathered for the Fund for Women’s 10th Annual Fashion Show at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club.

The wind might have been howling outside, but the ladies were partying inside as 18 models showed off fashions from 10 local, women-owned boutiques including Funky Lady, Coral Cove, Boutique W and Pink Leopard in Rehoboth Beach; Twila Farrell and Coolspring Cottage in Lewes; Millsboro’s Candlelight Bridal; and Alice & Laila, The Coastal Cottage, and WaterLili in Bethany Beach. Special guest models included First Spouse Tracey Quillen Carney, Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long and Rep. Ruth Briggs King, R-Georgetown.

The event raised more than $20,000 for the Fund for Women’s endowment, which empowers women and girls in Delaware to achieve their potential.
