The Nanticoke Indian Association proudly announced it has successfully reached its fundraising goal for the 47th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow thanks to the overwhelming support of its members, community partners, dedicated sponsors and generous GoFundMe donors. This achievement ensures that the event will proceed as planned Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7, at Hudson Fields, 30045 Eagle Crest Road, Milton, as a vibrant celebration of tribal heritage, strength and unity.
The Nanticoke Indian Powwow brings together tribal members, families and the broader community to honor and experience the rich traditions of the Nanticoke people. It features traditional dancing, drumming, food, vendors and cultural demonstrations, offering an educational opportunity for attendees to learn about the history and ongoing legacy of the Nanticoke Indian Tribe. The event is open to the public; all are welcome to attend.
