The annual visit of Fusion Lacrosse to Cape Henlopen State Park took place Aug. 11-14, when more than 30 campers attended the Cape Escape camp to sharpen their skills to cradle, check, shoot, pass and dodge while learning offense and defensive techniques.
"Cape Escape has always provided an excellent opportunity to decompress from the stress of the club lacrosse circuit while continuing to learn in a consequence-free environment,” said camp director Ian Allender. “Our goal with the Cape Escape camp has always been to maintain balance in one of the most crucial departments of the learning process — fun.
“Our campers this year have been one of the most skilled and well-behaved groups in the nine years I've worked this camp.”
