The weather ran the gamut on opening day, from freezing overnight, to gusting winds and thunder showers but the newest farmers market opened its gates at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7 to a constant flow of customers ready for all they had to offer. Located at 19884 Beaver Dam Rd in Lewes, the market will be open Thursdays, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekly.
Laura Kucharik reassured customers via Facebook and Instagram with her post -"To be clear, we open at 2 p.m. today when we kick off our Thursday farmers market! ...the farmers market is rain, shine, wind or whatever!"
