The Gazette travels to France with local veteran, what an honor!

John Hohman, a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 1787, recently traveled to France. Here he is pictured enjoying his Cape Gazette on Utah Beach. While in France, he also visited Omaha Beach in Normandy where he attended a special ceremony at the 1st Division Monument that was held by the Mayor of Colleville-sur-Mer. John enjoyed catching up with his French friends that he met on previous trips and was delighted to spend time with special friend, Wayne Parrish of North Carolina Chapter 305.
