The Gazette visits Dunham Massey Hall, an estate in England

September 21, 2018

In July, longtime (15 years and going strong) Cape Gazette readers Rob and Soozie LeBleu spent three weeks in England and Scotland.

The most memorable part of the trip was a visit to Dunham Massey Hall in Cheshire, England. It was once home to two great families, the Booths and the Greys. “My wife Soozie and I wanted to visit what we believe to be her ancestral home,” said Rob. “Her maiden name is Booth and the family has 300+ years of ‘drama’ at the grand estate with scandal and rebellion in the mix.”

Here they are pictured at the estate which is now a National Trust site. Scandal and duty can still be felt across the estate today!
