Georgetown library student art show reception set March 22

Works by promising young artists from three Sussex County schools are now on display for the annual student art show at Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St., Georgetown. All participants and their teachers will be honored at a closing reception set for 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 22.

Sponsored by Georgetown Arts and Flowers Inc., this year’s show features artwork by students in kindergarten through eighth grade from North Georgetown Elementary, Georgetown Elementary and Sussex Academy.

The variety of work will be judged by three local artists for first-, second- and third-place prizes along with honorable mention awards.
