I would like to express my sincere thanks to Lt. Joel Diaz and the officers of the Georgetown Police Department for their excellent support during our No Kings event held on Route 113 in Georgetown Oct. 18.
Lt. Diaz and his team were nothing but professional throughout both the planning and execution of the event. With more than 500 participants gathered along a heavily traveled roadway, the Georgetown Police Department ensured everyone’s safety by placing cones along the highway shoulder and maintaining a strong, visible presence that served as an effective deterrent to any potential disruptions.
Thank you to the Georgetown Police Department for your steadfast commitment to serve, assist and protect the residents and visitors of the Town of Georgetown. Your professionalism and cooperation are deeply appreciated.
