Geri Dibiase photo exhibit at CAMP Rehoboth to open June 4

May 22, 2022

Photographer Geri Dibiase will bring her art to CAMP Rehoboth for a one-woman exhibition, As I See It…from Kodachrome to iPhone, on display from Saturday, June 4 to Saturday, July 2. A reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 5.

After a successful 15 years as the owner of the Main Street Studio in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, Dibiase returned full time to her passion for photography. “I am grateful for my life behind the camera, as it has provided the opportunity to go more slowly, to take a closer look. There is such beauty around us, in both the grand and the minute, and I am delighted to be living and working in Southern Delaware amidst the beauty of our coastline,” she said.

The relaxed quality of her work has led interior designers to use her pieces in industrial and private collections, corporate settings, album covers and posters. DiBiase’s image “Manayunk Sunset” was the featured piece for the Manayunk Arts Festival in 2014. In addition, her work has been featured in the Maine Photographic Workshop summer show in New York City, the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg, Pa., and the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. Numerous solo show venues include the Delaware Art Museum, the Thunderbird Shop, Mixx, Cloud 9 and Lula Brazil.

“CAMP Rehoboth is thrilled to host Geri’s exhibition,” said Leslie Sinclair, CAMP Rehoboth arts director. “She is a local favorite and a longtime supporter of the community. Over the years, she has donated art to CAMP Rehoboth fundraisers, shared her art for Women’s Fest shirts, photographed the Broadwalk on the Boardwalk from a balcony, and much more. “

From local scenes to landscapes, florals, and creative compositions, Dibiase’s exhibit includes something for everybody.
