Gertrude E. Brittingham, loving, loyal lady

Gertrude E. Brittingham, 98, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022. 

A lifelong resident of Smyrna and Dover, she was predeceased by her parents Rebecca Reed Edmondson and Guy M. Edmondson Sr. She is also predeceased by six siblings, Elizabeth E. Whittaker, Ruth E. Metz, Guy M. Edmondson Jr., Estelle E. Smith, William A. Edmondson, and James N. Edmondson. She was a widow of James L. Goldsborough, and Alvin L. Brittingham.

Mrs. Brittingham is survived by her daughter, Norma Jane Henry (Arthur); granddaughters, Deirdre E. McCutcheon and Caroline D. Henry-Wiswall (Frank).  She has five great-grandchildren, Jefford W. McCutcheon (Crystal), Rebecca C. McCutcheon, Eric H. McCutcheon, Henry W. Wiswall, and Geoffrey E. Wiswall.

She was known and loved by many friends, coworkers, and clients from her long accounting career with Raymond F. Book and Associates.

A loving, loyal lady, she is missed by a thankful family.

Burial will be private.
