Giant Food launches Cash for Causes

Giant Food of Landover, Md. continues the ongoing commitment to being a better neighbor with the announcement of Cash for Causes,  a unique fundraising program benefiting the region’s nonprofit community.

Cash for Causes is an easy way for organizations to complete the holiday quest for the perfect gift that everyone can use. Gift cards are a direct way for nonprofits to raise critical funds.

Nonprofits can purchase Giant Gift Cards at a five percent discount, $500 minimum purchase required, and make the cards available for friends and supporters to purchase at face value. The difference between the discounted purchase price and the full face value equals proceeds for the nonprofit organization.
