The Georgetown Arts and Flowers Club has selected the winners for its Georgetown Gorgeous Gardens 2025 contest.
This year, the club membership nominated 36 local homes and businesses located within one mile of The Circle in Georgetown that showed particular pride in their yards and gardens. Two residential winners and one business winner were selected from each of Georgetown’s four wards.
Georgetown Arts and Flowers will provide the winning homeowners and businesses with a specially designed sign to display in their yard along with a thank-you letter and free Georgetown Arts and Flowers membership for 2026. Organizers said they had an outstanding response to this event in previous years, and this year did not disappoint.
This year’s business winners are: Mark Penuel State Farm Office, 522 E. Market St.; Victorian Medical Suites, 8 N. Race St.; Georgetown Family Medicine, 201. W. Market St.; and St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 203 Edward St.; with an honorable mention going to 22637 Lewes-Georgetown Highway.
Georgetown Arts & Flowers is a nonprofit group of talented volunteer gardeners who plant and maintain gardens on The Circle and at landmark buildings in town.
