Gregory F. Catts, enjoyed being on beach

Gregory F. Catts of Lewes, born Nov. 29, 1959, to William S. and Helen M. Catts, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.
Greg was raised both in District Heights, Md., and Rehoboth Beach. He graduated from Suitland Senior High School in 1977. Growing up, he could be found at various Catts beach shacks where he assisted beachgoers with chair and umbrella rentals or hanging out with his close friends. He did anything to spend time on the beach. 

Greg worked a variety of jobs, including managing and bartending at local restaurants, delivering mail for the U.S. Postal Service and owning a painting business. In his earlier years he enjoyed camping, spending time with his family, partaking in various outdoor activities and hiding out in his “man cave.” 

Greg is survived by his three daughters, Jessica Catts, Christina Catts and Kim Marvel; and one granddaughter, Kinsley. He is also survived by his two sisters, MaryAnn McCrae and Patricia Conley; his three brothers, Gerald Catts, Daniel Catts and James Catts; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two older brothers, Michael W. Catts and John M. Catts. 

He was loved by many and will be missed greatly. 

A memorial service for family and close friends will be announced at a later date.
