Gregory T. Imhof, 53, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 9, 1969, in Lewes, to the late Andrew Imhof and the late Doris (Schmierer) Smith.
Greg was known for his handiness. He was employed by Legum & Norman handling building maintenance at properties around Millsboro and Ocean City, Md. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and hunting.
He will be remembered as a great father and pop pop. He loved his time playing with his grandsons.
Greg is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jamie Lynn Imhof; his children, Tyler LeCates of Seaford, Anne Johnson of Millsboro, Dana Hendricks of Millsboro, and Jeanie Burger (Jarrett) of Millsboro; his six siblings, Penny MacLennan (Angus) of Lewes, Vincent Imhof (Zee) of Milford, Jesse Imhof (Eileen) of Rehoboth Beach, Floyd Imhof (Elaine) of New York, Susan Hargrave (Dennis) Smithfield, Va., and Patricia Marowski (J.D.) of Lewes; and his two grandsons, Hunter Andrews and Kye Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, at Melson Funeral Services Long Neck Chapel, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may gather starting at 5:30 p.m.
