Griswold Home Care names new director of Kent, Sussex office

Maryanne Murray, director and owner of the Delaware offices of Griswold Home Care, announces that Beth Copeland, RN, MSN, will be the new director of the Kent and Sussex County office of Griswold Home Care, based in Lewes.

Copeland, who has strong ties to the Lewes community, joins Griswold Home Care after many years of consulting with some of the country’s largest and prestigious health care systems. Her work redesigning the patient admission process spurred her interest in working with families caring for disabled and elderly family members by reinforcing her awareness of the complex needs of families. Her broad experience has resulted in her passion for the elderly and specifically helping families care for their spouses, parents or other loved ones with affordable, quality care.

Copeland, who has over 24 years of experience in healthcare and caring for families, earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Towson University and a master of science in nursing administration from Duke University. Her professional and educational experience are a natural fit for leading the Kent and Sussex office of Griswold Home Care.

“I would like to thank Cheryl Jankowski, who served as the regional director for 11 years, for her contributions to the high standards of Griswold Home Care in Kent and Sussex counties,” says Murray. Jankowski built the office from a few clients in 2003 to more than 100 when she resigned in September 2014. “I have a tremendous respect for Cheryl and her ability to showcase the Griswold Home Care services in Kent and Sussex counties. She will be missed,” adds  Murray.
