October 5, 2020

Grotto Pizza announced that Kelly Everman has accepted a promotion to general manager of its Middletown location, one of 22 stores in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Everman, who has a background in banking and hospitality, will direct the daily operation of the restaurant and diligently work to safeguard the highest compliance with Grotto Pizza standards in all areas of operation, including pizza and food preparation, delivery and ensuring that the highest-quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

Her Grotto Pizza journey began as assistant general manger at the Pennsylvania Avenue location in Wilmington in 2018. A New Jersey native, Everman moved to North Wilmington at a young age and attended Christiana High School and Sanford Brown College. Her favorite aspect about working for Grotto Pizza is the special relationships she’s developed with longtime guests. “I love the friendships and bonds created with customers at each of the three stores I’ve worked at during my tenure at Grotto Pizza," said Everman. “I’m also grateful to have the opportunity to lead our team of talented and dedicated Middletown employees, and will work to deliver top-notch experiences for our guests.”

“We’re fortunate at Grotto Pizza to have a deep bench of talent in our staff and are extremely pleased to welcome Kelly into her new leadership role at our Middletown location,” said Jeff Gosnear, vice president of Grotto Pizza. “Kelly embodies the spirt of Grotto Pizza hospitality and has a keen understanding of our brand and business. We’re proud to have her at one of our newest locations representing ‘the legendary taste’ to all Middletown customers.”
