Grotto to offer $1 pizza slices at Cape versus Polytech game Dec. 8
Grotto Pizza and Slam Dunk to the Beach have announced the Delaware high school promotional basketball tour. As part of the tour, Grotto Pizza will sell slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza at the schools for only $1.
One hundred percent of the pizza sales will go directly to the schools to help support the athletic programs. Discount coupons for Slam Dunk to the Beach tickets will also be available exclusively at these games.
The first stop of the tour is the Cape Henlopen boys' basketball game versus Polytech at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8. Fans are encouraged to come out to support the Vikings. Grotto Pizza slices will be available starting at 6:30 p.m. in front of the school entrance until halftime. Music and entertainment will be provided.
At halftime, one lucky fan will be selected to participate in the Grotto Pizza Delivery Halftime Hustle. This fan will have 25 seconds to successfully score a layup, free throw and three-point shot to win a free Grotto Pizza.
Slam Dunk to the Beach contributed more than $1 million to the local economy, and more than 10,000 fans watched the exciting action unfold over three days in December 2014.
