Health Fitness & Leisure Expo returns March 11
Delaware Resorts Expos will host its 5th Annual Health Fitness & Leisure Expo from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 11, at Cape Henlopen High School on Kings Highway in Lewes.
More than 80 exhibitors will be onsite offering a full array of health, fitness, leisure and home products and services for resort-area residents and their homes. Lead sponsor Beebe Healthcare will again offer free health screenings.
The expo sponsor lineup also includes: The Lodges of Coastal Delaware, Aquacare, Custom Fit 360, Coastal Bath, Delaware First Health, Delaware Retiree Connection and Quest Adventures.
“After months of being indoors during the winter, most folks are considering ways to improve personal health and to get their homes ready for spring and summer activities and entertaining,” said Kathy Benson, expo founder and coordinator. “March is a time when many of us start to think of getting back in shape and begin planning to enjoy the variety of outdoor activities available in our region.”
Exhibitors will be offering specials, and some will be giving away gifts and prizes. Healthy food will again be provided by Bountiful Bowls, which will accept credit cards.
