Health services to be offered at CHEER Center

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, La Red Health Center and the CHEER co-hosted a networking breakfast Aug. 23 to announce the availability of healthcare services at the CHEER Long Neck facility, starting this fall.

The breakfast unveiled new health services La Red will be offering at the CHEER Long Neck center in Millsboro, extending services available at the CHEER Ocean View center.

Representatives from both CHEER and the La Red Health provided an overview of their plans and the services that will be offered. Both organizations discussed how their collaboration will improve resources for the public, chamber members and their employees and customers to gain access to high quality, affordable healthcare. They intend to offer preventive and acute care, as well as care for chronic medical problems. Health screenings will also be available to help diagnose and prevent ongoing issues related to vision, depression, diabetes and blood pressure monitoring.
