HealTree karma wellness classes to start April 5
HealTree will present a karma class series designed to introduce the community to a variety of wellness practices in a safe, gentle, and accepting environment. Sessions will run from 6 to 7 p.m. weekly, starting Tuesday, April 5.
Local wellness instructors and practitioners will offer their gifts with the collective community as guest teachers. Classes will be donation-based, and 80% of all proceeds will be donated to a cause of the instructor’s choice. Classes will be appropriate for all skill levels, and no experience is necessary.
Kelly Sharp of Rehoboth Beach Yoga will present Svaroopa chair yoga April 5. Donations will benefit Svaroopa Vidya Ashram.
Renah Scudlark of Soulfire Collective will offer slow flow yoga April 12, with donations going to the Delaware Humane Association in Rehoboth.
Tara Gush of Soul Vikality, an emotional wellness, breath work and gut health specialist, will lead primal flow yoga April 19, with donations to benefit the Mental Health Alternatives Project for Teens and Parents.
Stacy LaMotta of Yoga with Stacy will offer chair yoga April 26. Donations will benefit Mental Health Alternatives Project for Teens and Parents.
Jude Block of Ever-Present Yoga will lead present-moment yoga May 3, with donations to benefit the Food Bank of Delaware backpack program.
Classes will continue through the summer. Additional upcoming topics include sound healing, acupuncture and nutrition for mental health.
HealTree is also recruiting future instructors for the karma class series.
