Heidi Lowe to teach beach glass pendant class Feb. 27

Heidi Lowe will teach two beach glass pendant classes, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, at her temporary studio space at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes. 

Students will bring or choose a piece of beach glass and create a special pendant made by hand. In this class, students will learn the basics of stone setting such as sawing, filing, bezel making and soldering. Each student will create a unique piece of jewelry to wear home.

“Beach glass pendants are a fun way to create a beautiful piece of jewelry from a cherished treasure found locally or on vacation,” said Lowe.

Registration is open to anyone over age 13. Cost of $100 per person includes tools and silver. Seating is limited, so advance registration is required.
