The temperature might have been uncomfortably hot, but that didn’t stop a record-breaking number of people from participating in the Henlopen Acres Fourth of July parade.
For the fifth year in a row, residents of all ages gathered at the marina in Henlopen Acres at 9 a.m. to begin the one-mile-long route. At the end of it all, there were prizes for the best contestants.
