Herker Property Maintenance expands Frankford facility

Herker Property Maintenance held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in collaboration with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce Oct. 31 to recognize the completion of a new building at its Frankford location. The Herker family was joined by staff as well as locally interested business and community members joining in the celebration.

With the corporate office based in Pennsylvania, son George Herker oversees the Delaware facility in Frankford with around 36 employees. The expansion will allow for the fleet of equipment to be housed and protected indoors, keeping the trucks and service vehicles in mint condition away from the elements.

“We are very excited to be expanding and growing the business. We bought the land here in Frankford around nine years ago, and the first building was completed around seven years ago. With our ever-growing fleet of equipment, we are happy to now have the additional space,” said George Herker.
