Heroes in Need held its inaugural event June 14 at Homestead Campground just outside Harbeson. Heroes in Need is a nonprofit organization with the goal of helping veterans in housing, drug abuse, job training and money management.
Started by Ahghanistan veteran and Harbeson resident Kevin Baron, the event is raising funds so the organization can file for their 501-3c status, and the goal was reached. The event featured a jeep show, food vendors, Zumbathon and bouncy houses for the children.
