Historical society sets bus trip to Washington, D.C. Nov. 13

In recognition of Native American History Month, The Lewes Historical Society has set a bus trip to Washington, D.C., Friday, Nov. 13, to the National Museum of the American Indian and the National Museum of American History in honor of Native American History Month.
The trip will leave at 7:30 a.m. from the Lowes parking lot on Route 1, and will return at approximately 6 p.m. Guests will be joined on the bus by a speaker from the Nanticoke Indian community who will be talk about Native Americans in Delaware. Cost of the trip is $40 for Lewes Historical Society members and $50 for nonmembers. For more information and reservations, call 302-645-7670.
