Holiday quarter party at American Legion set Dec. 5

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28 will host a holiday quarter party from 12 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, at American Legion Post 28 Bingo Hall in Millsboro. This is a joint venture between the auxiliary and Sussex AMVETS Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary. Doors will open at 11 a.m.

Paddles are $5 each or an all-in paddle is $20. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. The public is invited to attend. 

All proceeds will benefit programs that advocate for veterans, active military and their families, children and youth, and the community.
