More than 45 exhibitors, mostly local practitioners, converged in Lewes at the Virden Retreat Center Aug. 13 for the Illuminate The Beach Festival.  

The idea for Illuminate Festivals came to Judy Bazis during an enlightening time while attending a Unity spiritual service in Pittsburgh, Pa. She grew the program to include several Maryland locations and Lewes, making nine the magical number this year.

At a day of holistic health and wellness, hundreds of attendees enjoyed live music, free workshops, and services such as acupuncture, massage, Reiki, tarot, astrology, psychic mediums and intuitive readers.  Holistic products included crystals, essential oils, handmade jewelry and gift items, and spa products.
