Insurance workshop for small business slated July 9

June 24, 2019

The Delaware Small Business Development Center is hosting a free business insurance workshop, Protecting Your Business - Protecting Yourself from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, at the center office in Georgetown, 103 W. Pine St.

The workshop will be presented by Jeanine O’Donnell, State Farm Insurance Agent. It is free and open to small business owners, and advanced registration IS required due to limited space.

O’Donnell has more than 30 years of State Farm experience serving Lewes, Milton, Rehoboth and all of Delaware. She is a graduate of Wilmington University and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. She volunteers for many local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, CAMP Rehoboth and Junior Achievement.

“Join us to learn what causes small business owners issues - both with their business and their personal finances,” said David Root, SBDC Georgetown Center director. “Learn what questions to ask while shopping for insurance. Discover the gaps that need to be filled to avoid financial devastation. Ask questions in a comfortable environment and learn from fellow small business owners.”
