James ‘Honeybunn’ Bunn, retired line worker

James Albert “Honeybunn” Bunn, 78 of Lewes passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  He was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Albert and Charlotte (Furens) Bunn.

Mr. Bunn honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed a lifelong career working for General Motors as a line worker, retiring in 1992 after 30 dedicated years. In 1993 he moved full time to Lewes from Bel Air, Md.

Mr. Bunn always made sure that everyone else was taken care of by helping them any way that he could. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with those he held most dear. Mr. Bunn was a loving and devoted husband of 35 years, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Bunn is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemarie Bunn; his son, Neil Frank of Portland, Ore.; his daughter, Dawn Hundley of Lewes; his grandchildren: Mattie and Karter Kellner; and his sister, Bonnie Haylee of Pennsylvania.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
