James E. Humes Sr., great friend, family man
James E. Humes Sr., 82, of West Deptford, N.J., passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
A loving and caring man, James dedicated his life to his family. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. James was known to be very social, was a great friend and family man, and enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He loved Rehoboth Beach, where he lived for 23 years, and was a former restaurant owner there, and adored traveling with his partner. A kind soul among us, James will be missed deeply.
He was the beloved partner of the late Paul Sube; loving father of Kathy Feldman (Dave), James Jr., and Steven (Craig Villalobos); treasured grandpop of David Feldman Jr., Ashlie Feldman, Khrissa Feldman, Max Humes and Delaney Humes; dear brother of Roberta Sands, Jackie Stayton, Mazie Allen, Richard Humes, Linda Blackson and the late Dorothy Humes; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Services are private at the request of the family. Memorial donations may be made in James’ memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
