Jan B. Glading, DuPont Co. retiree

Jan B. Glading, 74, of Bridgeville passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Nassawadox, Va., daughter of the late Harry and Imogene Birch.

Mrs. Glading was a graduate of Chincoteague High School and Goldey-Beacom Junior College.  She was employed by the DuPont Company, where she met her husband and love of her life, Robert M. Glading.  Mrs. Glading was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glading was preceded in death by her beloved husband.  She is survived by her friend and caregiver, Dori Horner of Bridgeville; her brother, Harry Birch (Fay) of Newport News, Va.;  her brother-in-law, George Glading (Lois) of Dover; her aunt, Diane Watson (Bobby) of Chincoteague; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.

Services are private with arrangements handled by Watson-Yates Funeral Home, 609 East King St., Seaford.
