Janet McCall, loved making dolls

Janet McCall (Feo) passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, in her Milford home after a lifetime of love and laughter.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., but spent much of her life in Paulsboro and Swedesboro, N.J, before moving to Milford where she and her husband would enjoy retirement.

In earlier years, she had a doll and quilt shop in her home. Once she moved to Milford, she continued to be well known for her unique Santa Clauses she would sew every year with different themes and accessories. She would often donate them to local charities.

Janet was predeceased by two of her children, MaryEllen McCall and John R. McCall; and her brother, Joseph Feo. In addition to the many friends and family members who loved her, she is survived by her husband of 58 years, John (Jack) McCall; her daughters, Wendalin McCall Bower, Carmen Superville McCall and Ellie Mae Helmes; her grandchildren Jake Helmes, Hannah Helmes, Chloe Helmes. David (Kevin) Yearwood and Nikolai Poloney.

There will be a celebration of her life and the love she shared Saturday, March 27, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Paulsboro Sportsman Association, 32 Riverview Ave., Paulsboro, N.J. All are welcome to attend. Please contact the family for more information.
