Jennings wins RBP Rookie of the Year

Rehoboth Beach Patrol held its annual rookie test July 3 on the beach in front of the Henlopen Hotel. Rookies competed in the 800-meter run, push-ups, soft-sand sprint, buoy charges, line charges and breath holding.
Taking Rookie of the Year honors was Cole Jennings. Second place went to Gabe Taborda. Showing at third was Ellis Jack. Fourth pace went to Kyle Surguy, while Henry Stenta garnered fifth place.
