Joan Lunden to offer candid conversation on aging online July 22

Portion of book sale proceeds to benefit breast cancer coalition
July 12, 2020

Joan Lunden will talk candidly about aging in a free virtual discussion at 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 22.

Lunden had been scheduled to appear in person in March, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic.

Lunden is an American journalist, author and television host. She was the co-host of ABC's “Good Morning America” from 1980 to 1997 and has authored eight books. Her newest is “Why Did I Come into This Room?: A Candid Conversation about Aging.”

In her most revealing book yet, Lunden delves into the various phases of aging that leave many feeling uncomfortable, confused and on edge. She takes the dull and depressing out of aging, replacing them with wit and humor.

The event is presented by Browseabout Books, Lewes Public Library, and Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Browseabout is donating 25 percent of book sales from the event to benefit the breast cancer coalition’s statewide programs and services for women and men battling breast cancer.

To purchase a copy of the book, stop by Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach or call 302-226-2665.

Registration for the event is free but required. To register and receive an email link to the event, go to www.lewes.lib.de.us.
