Milton residents John and Carole Sangis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Oct. 17.
Married in Passaic, N.J., the couple worked and brought up their family in the Garden State, moving to the Cape Region after retirement in 2005.
They have three children and four grandchildren, all of whom live in New Jersey.
The photo shows John and Carole at the 1962 Garfield High School prom.
