Judith Calvo Puente, avid explorer
Judith Calvo Puente passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. Born Dec. 18, 1949, in the Philippines, she was the loving daughter of the late Teodolo and Santiaga Isubal Calvo.
She was an avid traveler who relished the experience of exploring new destinations. However, her greatest joy was found in time spent with her family, creating cherished memories that will long live on in all their hearts.
Judith Puente will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Erasto Puente; two sisters, Susan Peralta and Victoria Clark; brother, Feliciano Calvo; daughter, Jennifer Camp (Neil); three sons, Emerson Puente (Eva), Dr. Erwin Puente (Robyn) and Erick Puente (Hailey); seven grandchildren, Ethan Puente, Evan Puente, Isabel Puente, Ezri Camp, Nora Puente, Coen Camp and Kai Puente; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 27, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call beginning at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Millsboro.
