Kathie Lee Gifford, the three-time Emmy award winning television personality, singer, songwriter, actress, producer, playwright and wine lover, made an appearance Aug. 21 at Atlantic Liqours in Rehoboth Beach to sign bottles of her newly-released line of wines GIFFT. GIFFT wines are a 50/50 partnership with Scheid Family Wines and are crafted from the company’s Monterey estate vineyards. The initial offerings from GIFFT include a 2012 Estate Grown Chardonnay and 2011 Estate Grown Red Blend, both priced at $20/750ml. The Chardonnay was given 88 points by Wine Spectator and the red blend received a 91 point rating. The line of wine lovers and Kathie Lee fans stayed long throughout the two-hour signing.
