Kathleen Elizabeth Costango, very loving person

Kathleen Elizabeth Costango, 58, of Delmar, originally from West Chester, Pa., passed away at her home Saturday, July 11, 2020. She was born Sept. 7, 1961, to the late Edward L. Brewer, and her mother Elizabeth B. Brewer. 

Kathleen graduated from Glasgow High School, and attended Hodgson Vocational School in Glasgow.  Kathleen loved her family most of all, which includes her children and grandchildren.  Kathleen was a very social and loving person who would do anything to help anyone, and a devoted pet owner to her dachshund Sophie.  Kathy attended St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Delmar.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children: Michael Thomas Davis and his companion Rhiannon Showell of Millsboro, and Amanda Harmon and her husband Jason of Bel Air, Md.  She has one sister: Beverly Marta (Anthony) of Millsboro; and a brother: John Brewer (Janet) of Smyrna.  Also surviving are her two granddaughters: Persephone Rose Davis and Ryleigh Marie Mitchell.  She also leaves behind extended family members and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, July 18, which will include a viewing from 7 until 8 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Delmar.  The Rev. Dr. James Van Der Wall will officiate.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in place, masks will be required and social distancing practices.  There will be limited seating during the funeral service; however, no limit on visitation, for those coming and going.  Interment arrangements are private.
